Chantal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting and has over 14 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. She’s worked as a staff accountant for a medical billing company and a finance supervisor for a resort management company. She shifted to the non-profit sector in 2012 and has contracted with various non-profit organizations since then.

Initially beginning her career as a certified nursing assistant, she’s seen many close friends and loved ones struggle with drug and substance addiction. To her, there is no greater pursuit than preventing drug and substance misuse in the community.

Outside the organization, Chantel is a member of the Halifax Humane Society and the Christ the King Community Church. She enjoys running, doing anything outdoorsy with her children (and dogs), paddle boarding, and reading a good romance novel.
