Laticia Griffin, a dedicated advocate for marginalized communities, brings over a decade of experience in social work and community leadership. A native of Brevard County, Laticia’s passion for fostering positive change led her to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.

Throughout her career, Laticia has excelled in leading and coordinating community-driven initiatives, building strong relationships with local government, nonprofits, and other stakeholders to address social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Her commitment to empowerment, inclusivity, and sustainable solutions is evident in her various employment and volunteer roles with local nonprofit agencies. In those roles Laticia assembled and led project teams, managed risks, ensured project deliverables met quality standards, and facilitated an evidence-based substance abuse prevention curriculum district wide. Her efforts in data analysis and community outreach have significantly impacted local area schools and community organizations and has been instrumental in improving the quality of life for those she serves.

Laticia’s dedication to community service has been recognized with nominations for the Women Who Rock – Community Service Award in 2022 and the Child Abuse Prevention Task Force Award in 2020 and 2021. Her unwavering commitment to advocating for the needs and concerns of citizens, fostering positive change, and building a more inclusive community continues to drive her professional and personal endeavors.
